The NordicTrack S22i Studio Cycle provides the very latest technology that allows you to stream live spin bike classes in the comfort of your own home. The fabulous twenty two inch HD touch screen, which is were the 22 in the name originates, provides an AutoBreezecooling fan and can pivot 360 degrees, which offers another exciting option. During a live session the trainer may ask you to dismount the bike and do a short dumbbell workout with the dumbbells provided or a floor warm up. You can pivot and position the screen so you can still see the trainer not matter were you are in the room. The bike provides a few basic programmes including a small number of Google Map street routes, where you pedal down the road watching the scenery pass you by. But to get the most out of the NordicTrack S22i Studio cycle you need to subscribe to iFit® Coach, which on the purchase of the S22i is free for the first 12 months and then just £99 a year there after (please contact Fitness Options to confirm the subscription price at the point of purchase as this price may change). Some people after reading the above will compare the NordicTrack S22I with the Peloton Bike, but you would be wrong to do so, because the S22i not only offers the live classes, but when using Google Maps the bike actually goes up and down hill, mimicking exactly the terrain of the road. This is achieved by way of a small motor at the rear of the bike, a function missing on the Peloton. The trainers can also remotely adjust the incline and resistance on the bike but on the handle bars there are incline and resistance controls, so you can intervene and take control if the going is too tuff or too easy. The bike itself is as solid as a rock and the peddling action as smooth as silk even on a high resistance setting which is accomplished by an inertia enhanced flywheel with SMR Silent Magnetic Resistance. The seat and pedal designs are standard with normal road bikes.
