Pricing is always a delicate subject not only for you the customer but also for us the retailer. You obviously want the best possible deal and we want to be able to provide this, but more importantly we also want to give you the best service possible. Experience has taught me that it is when things go wrong or you need help and advice that good service is worth its weight in gold. However if you see a better price on like for like product call me, Wendy. I’m a director of the company and I will always endeavour to match or even better the price without compromising our proud and excellent service that we have developed over the last 15 years.

We understand that many customers are still very nervous about buying over the internet. Security is the main issue and that is why we use one of the most secure servers available, but it is also difficult to get the right impression of an item when you only have a picture and description to guide you. That is why we offer a 10 day money back guarantee, If you are not happy with your purchase then you can return it to us, and get a full refund.

Please note that you will be responsible for the cost and safe return of the product. The only thing we ask is that you inform us in writing within 10 days from the day you receive the goods. All correspondence regarding the return of the product must be addressed to:

Please return them in the condition that you received them and in the original packaging. Some of the equipment can be quite large and heavy. Therefore we strongly advise you to retain the original packaging, as to collect this type of product out of its box can cost considerably more. If you require an engineer to dismantle the products then a labour charge will also apply. We will write to you with 21 days of your notification, confirming your cancellation, informing you of a collection date, if required, the cost of collection and the method of collection. We guarantee, unless you have agreed to other arrangements, to collect the products and refund your money within 30 days of you cancelling the agreement. If Fitness Options has arranged a credit agreement on you behalf, this will automatically be cancelled.

There are certain products, by their nature and usage that cannot be returned. These are;
• When you have had goods made to your specification or personalised
• Books and magazines
• Products that deteriorate or expire rapidly
• Nutritional Supplements
• Goods due to hygiene reasons i.e. heart rate monitors, boxing equipment and slimming belts that use perspiration to work, cannot be returned once used. However you have the right to inspect them and return them if unused.

Please inform us in writing of faulty products within 7 days. We will arrange for either an engineer to call or an exchange. If the faulty goods are to be returned the returns must be authorised by Fitness Options, unauthorised goods will be refused. You may have to deal direct with the manufacturer. If we cannot remedy the problem to your satisfaction we will refund you in full.

When ordering by credit card (mail order) the item will be delivered to the card holders registered address. If you require goods to be sent elsewhere (ie works address or second home) then you must telephone Fitness Options and provide proof that you work or recide at that address. Please note that random identity / security checks may be made on mail order purchases to prevent fraud. This may involve accessing credit files. Delivery is free of charge to all destinations in England and Wales unless otherwise indicated. Any carriage that is required will be clearly marked. However, a surcharge will apply to Scotland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Scilly Isles and all European destinations in which case you will need to telephone 0115 9736444 for a quote. Orders placed through the store may carry a different delivery charge to orders placed on-line.

Due to Post Office and carrier company working hours, it is not possible to guarantee a next-day delivery when an order is received after 2.30pm on any working day, or at any time over a weekend. 'Next-day' may mean next working day.

All goods will arrive flat packed and will require assembly by you. A signature will be required on delivery. If you have requested delivery on a specific date Fitness Options will endeavour to fulfil your request, but because we are using a third party, we cannot guarantee it. Fitness Options will not accept liability for failure to deliver on the stated date. Carriers will not deliver at specific times, however deliveries before 9.00am, 10.00am, 12.00am and Saturday morning can be arranged at a premium. Most items delivered by carrier arrive within 7 working days, but please allow up to 21 working days.Please Note Carriers state they are only contracted to deliver to the door. If the delivery is to a block of flats, they will only deliver to the ground floor doorway of the building. This therefore may require you to assist or move the equipment into your home.They will not carry goods upstairs at your home unless contracted do so. A charge for this will apply. We will always try to arrive at the arranged time, however we cannot be held responsible for late arrival due to unusual traffic situations and circumstances beyond our control. We will also try to place the equipment in your required location, but this is not always possible due to the weight and size of the equipment and the access available to us.

If the manufacturer carries out the delivery you may be asked to deal direct with the manufacturer.

Large items are usually pre-arranged with you by either the carrier or Fitness Options. If no one is present at one of the pre-arranged deliveries, then the goods will be returned to the depot and/or the supplier. You will liable for all carriage charges in this event.

Fitness Options will not be liable for late or failed deliveries by third party carriers. Any claim for damages to property by a third party carrier must be taken up with them directly.

You must check the item when it arrives. If the box is damaged and you refuse to accept it you must write the reason why on the delivery note and refuse to sign it. If you accept the delivery cross out 'delivered in good condition' on the delivery note before signing. If there are a number of boxes to the item you must count they are all there. If not count how many there are and write this on the delivery note before signing and contact Fitness Options within 48 hours. If you do not note damages or shortages, Fitness Options or the carrier cannot be held responsible. Words such as UNEXAMINED or UNCHECKED will not be accepted as a conditional signature. Remember if you do not note damages or shortages a signature is an acceptance that you have received all the delivery in good condition. This does not effect your statutory rights regarding faulty products.

You must inform Fitness Options if any thing will restrict access to your property or home. This includes (but not limited to)overhanging trees or shrubs, narrow lanes, tight corners, steep driveways or steps. If the delivery vehical or the delivery driver or team cannot gain access and Fitness Options or the carriers were not informed, Fitness Options nor the carriers will accept any claim for compensation for non/failed or refused delivery. In the event of the delivery being refused or cancelled due to these restrications, the customer will be liable for all outward and return carriage charges. In addition where an item will not fit through a door, hallway, staircase or similar because of the size of the box then the above will also apply. If in doubt please telephone Fitness Options for box sizes.

Health and safety regulations now state that any delivery above or below ground floor is at the discrection of the carriers or delivery team and cannot be guaranteed. This includes steps outside the premises which have to be climbed to gain access to the property.

Please make sure there is adequate parking and access available. It is the customers responsibility to check that the installation as been carried out to their satisfaction. If the customer is not present when the installation is completed the installation will be deemed to be completed to the customers satisfaction. Any subsequent visits that may be required will be chargeable.

Unless otherwise indicted these will vary depending on the complexity of the install, the products purchased and the distances involved. Please ask for a quote.

Fitness Options can process orders received from outside of the UK. However, there are a few important issues to consider before you/the customer can receive delivery of your order.

• Products ordered to be delivered to an address within the UK and registered for use at an address within the UK come with a full UK warranty. This warranty is dependant upon the Brand. However, orders to be delivered outside of the UK therefore DO NOT come with a warranty of any type.
• A shipping charge quote will be calculated as shortly after receipt of an order. This shipping charge will be inclusive of: -
  a) All shipping costs.
  b) Goods in Transit, Insurance to the value of the goods.
  c) UK VAT, although the goods/order will be exempt of VAT, the delivery is a service from within the UK and therefore, VAT must be paid.
  d) Other administrative costs.
• Payment from overseas orders can only be processed by direct Bank transfer; our Account details, BIC and Swift code will be enclosed to an Invoice that will be sent to the customer via email.
• A form of photographic identification is required by Fitness Options for security purposes. This could be a scanned copy of a passport or driving license and can be emailed to us after receiving a copy of our Invoice.
• Delivery is to be completed at the earliest opportunity. However, a lead-time of 10-14 working days is to be expected.

Where applicable all prices include VAT at the current rate of 20%.

The goods remain the property of Fitness Options (Nottm) Ltd until the goods are paid in full.
